If you visit this blog regularly, you already know this family’s love for pasta, soups, stews and cheese. With an Italian husband and living in the dairy state, it’s truly no wonder! I buy Hunt’s Fire Roasted tomatoes and use them in just about every dish that calls for canned tomatoes. I was in love the first time I tried them, which was with my Homemade Salsa from Canned Tomatoes. So when Hunt’s and Kraft asked me to make a couple recipes using Hunt’s Tomatoes and Kraft Parmesan Cheese, it was truly a no-brainer. Both of these items are always in my pantry. My husband refuses to buy any other Parmesan, only Kraft is allowed!
I’m excited to come up with some new dishes to share. Some of my existing favorites include Farfalle with Green Beans and Pecans in Fire Roasted Tomato Sauce, Baked Rotini with Italian Sausage and Spicy Grilled Chicken with Baja Black Beans and Rice. There are many more and I’ll be sharing a new one later this week!
Even though both of these products are already a staple in this house, it’s great to know that KRAFT and HUNT’S use only 100% grated parmesan in their cheese and 100% natural tomatoes peeled with FlashSteam, not harsh chemicals.
I’ve started a Pinterest board for some inspiration too as I think up new ways to incorporate these delicious ingredients. I’ll be adding recipes to it regularly, so be sure to follow along. If you have any favorite recipes using tomatoes and Parmesan, please share in the comments!
